The 107th MGA Missouri Amateur Championship will be hosted by Norwood Hills Country Club (West Course) in St Louis  June 24-29.

But because the dates of the Missouri Amateur are one week later in 2014 we feel it is important to let everyone know now. We hope to see you all in 2014. ”  Scott Hovis, MGA Executive Director

ELIGIBILITY

Entries are open to male amateur golfers who are members of the MGA, play at clubs who are members of the Missouri Golf Association with a certified handicap index of not more than nine (9.0) on the USGA men’s handicap system.

HOW TO QUALIFY

To qualify for the Missouri Amateur you must qualify at one of the 5 sites around the state. These sites will be announced shortly. The number of players that qualify at each site will be determined by the number of people registered at that site.

SCHEDULE

Competition will be in two stages:
1. QUALIFYING ROUND – 18 hole stroke play.
2. CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS – 144 qualifiers including exemptions.
(A) STROKE PLAY – 36 holes stroke play to determine 64 players for match play. A tie for 64th place shall be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole play-off.

Tuesday – June 24
First round, 18 holes
Wednesday – June 25
Second round, 18 holes
Cut to 64

(B) MATCH PLAY – General numerical draw will be used. Players can ride in carts during Match Play.
Thursday – June 26
AM – First round, 18 holes
Friday – June 27
AM – Second round, 18 holes
PM – Third round, 18 holes
SATURDAY – June 28
AM – Fourth round, 18 holes
PM – Semi-final round, 18 hole
SUNDAY – June 29
Final, 36 holes
