LAKE OZARK, Mo. (July 24, 2024) – The MGA hosted a Senior Series event today at Osage National Golf Club in Lake Ozark. The par-72 course, featuring 18 of its 27 holes designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer, provided an excellent backdrop for the competition.

Osage National Golf Club is renowned for its stunning layout and challenging design. The course blends natural beauty with Palmer’s expert touch, offering a memorable golfing experience for players of all levels. Its combination of strategic design and breathtaking views makes it a favorite among both local and visiting golfers.

Senior Series events are open to male golfers who are members of the MGA and are 50 years of age or older. Competitors are divided into flights based on their age as of April 22, 2024.

In the 50-54 Open division, Christian Corpe (Lake Ozark) secured the top spot with a score of 1-under, 71, including six birdies. 

David Pfeil (Eureka) won the 55-59 Open division with a score of 1-over, 73, making three birdies. 

The 60-64 Open division saw a tie for first place, with David Rudd (Wildwood) and Brett Allen (Columbia) both shooting 3-over, 75. Rudd had four birdies, while Allen scored an eagle on hole 9. 

Brett Combs (Bradleyville) took the lead in the 65-69 Open division with a score of 3-over, 75, including four birdies. 

George Bowler (Warrensburg) clinched the 70+ Open flight with a score of 1-under, 71, also achieving six birdies.

Handicap strokes are deducted from the final scores in the net flights. 

Jeff Brown (Sunrise Beach) led the 50-58 Net flight with a score of 4-under, 68. 

Mike Domenick (Festus) won the 59-64 Net flight with a score of 3-under, 69. 

Dave Pingel (Branson West) took the top spot in the 65-69 Net flight with a score of 2-under, 70. 

Terry Souchek (Columbia) led the 70-74 Net group with a score of 4-under, 68. 

Charles Kaiser (Jefferson City) claimed victory in the 75+ Net group, also finishing with a score of 4-under, 68.
