CAMDENTON, Mo. (June 25, 2024) – Lake Valley Golf Club in Camdenton hosted a Missouri Junior Tour event yesterday, sponsored by the Lake of the Ozarks Golf Trail. The event saw 87 junior golfers from various age groups compete for top honors in their respective divisions.

In the 16-18 Male division, Luke Barchenski (Eldon) and Chayton Jordan (Rolla) both scored 1-over, 73, tying for first place. Barchenski clinched the gold in a chip-off, with Jordan taking silver. Michael Atnip (Jefferson City) and Talon Hull (Eldon) tied for third, with Atnip winning the chip-off to secure the bronze.

Avery Wells (Eldon) claimed victory in the 16-18 Female division with a score of 5-over, 77. Audrey Smith (Rolla) placed second with a 10-over, 82, while Catherine Fallis (Columbia) finished third at 12-over, 84.

In the 14-15 Male division, Lake Bennett (Linn) took the top spot with an impressive score of 2-under, 70, featuring four birdies and just two bogeys. Ethan Bartles (Springfield) and Owen Zastrow (Washington) tied for second with even-par scores of 72. Zastrow won the chip-off for silver, with Bartles earning the bronze.

In the 14-15 Female 9-hole division, Haven Evers (Eldon) won with a score of 1-over, 37. Rylee Allred (Ash Grove) finished second at 6-over, 42. Anna Boyd (California) and Claire Sinnett (Jefferson City) tied for third at 12-over, 48, with Sinnett winning the chip-off for bronze.

Blaine Munzlinger (Columbia) took first place in the 12-13 Male 18-hole division with a 3-over, 39. Jagger Glaze (Eldon) finished second at 4-over, 40, and Graham Henley (Eldon) secured third with a 6-over, 42.

In the 12-13 Male 9-hole flight, Reid Hampton (Tipton) won gold with a score of 17-over, 53. Landon Kliegel (St. Thomas) earned second at 19-over, 55, and Hudson Gray (Eldon) finished third at 20-over, 56.

Drew Maze (Columbia) triumphed in the 10-13 Female flight with a 12-over, 48. Annika Torres (Lake Ozark) finished second at 22-over, 58, and Lily Caudle (Holts Summit) took third at 24-over, 60.

Henry Russell (Fulton) won the 10-11 Male flight with a 4-over, 40. Austin Krantz (Lake Ozark) took second at 7-over, 43, and Tyson Strupp (Columbia) finished third with an 8-over, 44.

In the 8-9 Male division, Logan Knaebel won gold with a score of 10-over, 46.

Emerson Munzlinger (Columbia) secured first place in the 8-9 Female flight with a 15-over, 51. Allison Knaebel (Columbia) finished second at 23-over, 59, and Onna Goosen (Sedalia) took third at 24-over, 60.

The Missouri Golf Association was started in St. Louis in 1905 to run the Amateur Championship.
