OZARK, MO (April 23, 2024). – A full field of 90 senior golfers gathered at Millwood Golf & Racquet Club in Ozark, Missouri for the second Senior Series Tour event of the year. The round began at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start.
Senior Series events are open to male golfers who are members of the MGA and 50 years of age or older. Competitors compete in gross and net flights based on their age as of April 22, 2024.
Darin Baldwin (Warrensburg) won the 50-54 Open division by five shots with a score of six over, 77. Tod Rose (West Plains) was runner-up in the division.
In the 55-59 Open flight, Lowell Catron (Carthage) came out victorious carding a score of six over, 77. David Pfeil (Eureka) and Robert Godwin (Poplar Bluff) both tied for second with scores of 78.
Steve Groom (Raytown) was the champion of the 60-64 Open division after shooting two over, 73. Groom’s round including three birdies.
The 65-69 Open division saw Dennis Osborne (Ballwin) in first with a score of four over, 75. Bobby McKay (Joplin) finished in second on the day.
Finally, Don Kuehn (Kansas City) came out on top of the 70+ open flight at five over, 76.
Jeff Brown (Sunrise Beach) won the 50-58 Net division with a score of two over, 73. Tim Borman (Kingdom City) followed with a score of 77.
With a score of two over, 73, Mike Domenick (Festus) was the winner of the 59-64 Net flight.
In the 65-69 Net flight Joe Brown (St. Joseph) was victorious at three over, 74.
Marvin Frazier (Festus) was the winner of the 70-74 Net flight at one over, 72.
Lastly, the 75+ Net division was won by Gerald Oney (Walnut Shade) with a score of six over, 77.
