2013 HJS Tour Championship
The 2013 Hieronymus Junior Series Tour Championship took place July 24th, 2013 at Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton, Missouri. The playing field was filled with 29 of the most elite golfers from the Junior Series Tour and they were ready to compete. The golf along with the weather was enjoyable for everyone!
Fifth teen year old, Jackson, Missouri golfer Jack Litzelfelner III played up in the 16-18 Division and took first with a 3 over par round 75. Ian Barnes of Licking, Missouri took second place posting a round of 77 and Columbia, Missouri golfer Sam Harrison finished third with a round of 85. In the Boys 14-15 Division, Gabriel Trowbridge of Jefferson City, Missouri finished in first place posting an 82 for the day. Ben Bolden of La Plata, Missouri took second posting 82 and Ben Knoesel of Columbia took third posting 92.
Lake Ozark golfer, Taylor Rose Hayes won the Girls 16-18 Division with a 4 over par round 76. Pavin Jackson from Lebanon, Missouri finished second posting a round score 80 and Megan Keck of Sedalia took third place posting 82 for the day. In the Girls 14-15 Division, Mikala Jungmeyer from Russellville, Missouri took first with a round of 86 and Columbia golfer Maylie Holt finished second with a score of 102.
In the younger and 9-Hole Divisions, Prairie Village, Kansas golfer Grant Beichley won the Boys 10-11 Division with a round of 52. In the Boys 12-13 Division, Chase Venn of Columbia took first posting an even par round 36, Luke Manary of Columbia finished second posting 42. Also from Columbia, Spencer Miles finished third with a round of 44 and Marshall, Missouri golfer Evan Weaver took fourth place with a score of 51.

The 2013 Hieronymus Junior Series Tour finished yesterday, July 22, 2013 in Columbia, Missouri at A.L. Gustin Golf Course. We had our largest field of the series, with a total of 50 competitors. Players in the 10-13 age divisions competed in 9 holes and players from 14-18 years of age played 18 holes for the competition.
Columbia golfer, Luke Manary won the 12-13 Boys Division with a two over par round 37. Chase Venn and Brett Trowbridge tied for second place posting a round of 40. Olivia Sowers, of Columbia, Missouri won the 12-13 Girls Division posting a score of 44 and Kate-Conley Hughes, of Columbia, Missouri took second place recording a 66 for the round.
Hailey Diel and Maylie Holt, both of Columbia, tied for first place in the 14-15 Girls Division recording an 89 for their rounds; Cara Wilfong, also of Columbia took second place with a score of 91. Jackson, Missouri golfer Jack Litzelfelner III won the 14-15 Boys Division posting an even par round 70, Gabriel Trowbridge, of Jefferson City took second posting a 76, and Stephen Sowers of Columbia took third place with a 77.
In the boys 16-18 Division, Ian Barnes of Licking, Missouri took first with an even par round 70, Cole Perkins of Marshall took second place recording a 74 for the day, and Centerview, Missouri golfer Justin Evans took third with a score of 77. Megan Keck won the 16-18 Girls Division shooting even par 70, Claire McDonald of Columbia took second posting a 75, and Moberly golfer Nichole Marquis shot 76 for a third place finish.

We are half way through the 2013 Hieronymus Junior Series Tour! The junior event at Green Hills Country Club, Chillicothe, MO was today July 1, 2013. We had a field of 16 competitors and a beautiful day for golf.
In the boys divisions we had Hayden Montgomery took first in the 12-13 Flight with a score of 46. Brian Weaver took 2nd posting a 47 and Marshall Lunsford took 3rd shooting 56. Meanwhile, in the 14-15 Flight, Ben Bolden took 1st with a score of 98 and Will Devoy took 2nd posting a score of 101. There was a close finish in the 16-18 Boys Flight, Ian Barnes took 1st with a round of 76, Lane Beverlin took 2nd posting 77 and Derek Rohlfsen took 3rd with a score of 78.
In the girls divisions, Nichole Marquis recorded an 81 which took 1st in 16-18 Flight. Morgan Corderman won the 14-15 Flight shooting 117 and Paige Arment took 2nd posting a 148.
The 2013 Hieronymus Junior Series only has 3 more events! The next event is this Wednesday, July 3 at Heritage Hills Country Club in Moberly.
HJS – Redfield GC June 5th
The second 2013 Hieronymus Junior Series event teed off at Redfield Golf Course in Eugen, MO on Wednesday June 5th. We had 21 golfers ranging from the ages of 10-18. Players in the 14-18 age divisions played 18 holes and players in the 10-13 age divisions played 9 holes.
Ian Barnes from Licking, MO took first in the 16-18 Boys Division, posting scores 35-37 for a total of 72 and even par for the round. Micheal Hake from Osage Beach MO took 2nd place with a score of 78 and Collin Hart from Hermann, MO and Alexander Lorenz from Sedalia, MO tied for 3rd place with a score of 82.
For the second straight event, Megan Keck from Sedalia, MO won 16-18 Girls Division posting a score of 79. Jefferson City golfers Hope Watson and Ashlee Morrison finished 2nd and 3rd , Watson posting 100 and Morrison 115.
In the 14-15 Boys Division Zane West-Derby from Owensville, MO took first posting a score of 90, and Zachary Weaver from Jefferson City, MO took 2nd shooting 121.
After winning in Sedalia earlier in the week, Russellville golfer Mikala Jungemeyer won in the 14-15 Girls Division with a score of 87. Morgan Corderman from Moberly finished 2nd shooting 113 and Ellie Serverance from Jefferson City finished 3rd shooting 114.
In the 12-13 Boys Division Jefferson City golfer Nathan Erickson took home his second 1st place medal posting a score of 42. Hayden Montgomery finished 2nd shooting 46. Columbia, MO golfer Jackson Barbee finished 3rd place shooting 64.
Tipton, MO golfer Rachel Newkirk took 1st again in the 12-13 Girls Division shooting 64.
The next Hieronymus Junior Series Event is Monday June 17, 2013 at Cameron Memorial Golf Course in Cameron, MO.

HJS – Sedalia CC June 3rd
The 2013 Hieronymus Junior Series teed off at Sedalia Country Club, Monday June 3rd, with a field of 32 golfers ranging from the ages of 10-18. Players in the 14-18 age divisions played 18 holes and players in the 10-13 age divisions played 9 holes.
Derek Rohlfsen from Tarkio, MO took first in the 16-18 Boys Division, posting a score of 74, only 4 over the course par 70. Justin Evans, from Centerview, MO took 2nd place with a score of 84 and Jefferson City, MO golfer James Spath took 3rd place with a score of 88.
In the 16-18 Girls Division, Megan Keck from Sedalia, MO won with a score of 81. Ashley Childers, from Mt. Veron, MO finished 2nd posting a score of 86 and Nichole Marquis, from Moberly finished 3rd with a score of 92.
In the 14-15 Boys Division Ben Bolden from La Plata, MO took first posting a score of 88, James Pederson took 2nd shooting 91 and Zachary Weaver took 3rd shooting 131.
Russellville golfer Mikala Jungemeyer won in the 14-15 Girls Division with a score of 94. Maylie Holt finished 2nd shooting 111 and Cara Wilfong finished 3rd shooting 112.
In the 12-13 Boys Division Jefferson City golfer Nathan Erickson took 1st posting a score of 39, only 4 over par 35. Hayden Montgomery finished 2nd shooting 47. Jackson Barbee and Evan Weaver tied for 3rd place shooting 59.
Rachel Newkirk took 1st in the 12-13 Girls Division shooting 69. Grant Beichley won the 10-11 Boys Division and Brylie Ellis won to 10-11 Girls Division.
The next Hieronymus Junior Series Event is Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Redfield Golf Course in Eugene, MO.
