FARMINGTON, Mo. – Day two of the Crown Pointe Senior Series tournament held at Crown Pointe Golf Club in Farmington concluded today. 68 golfers hit the course with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. for round two of stroke play.
Senior Series events are open to golfers who are members of the MGA and 50 years of age or older. Competitors compete in flights based on their age as of April 18, 2022.
Winning the 50-54 Open flight, Eric Glidewell (Marshfield) shot an even par, 72.
In first place in the 55-59 Open flight is Doug Flowers (Springfield). He shot an even par, 72.
At three over par, 75, David Rudd (Wildwood) won the 60-64 Open flight.
Anthony Brown (St. Louis) won the 65-69 Open flight after shooting an even par, 72.
Finally, Robert Trittler (Wentzville) led the 70+ Open flight at two over par, 74.
Dane Cox (Republic) won the 50-59 Net flight. He shot one under par, 71.
Winning the 60-64 Net flight is Robert Bender at four under par, 68.
Tied for first in the 65-69 Net flight, Robert Gile (Cape Girardeau) and High McKay (Jefferson City) both shot one under par, 71.
Lastly, shooting four under par, 68, King Edmonston won the 70+ Net flight.
