NICK WILSON, Columbia is the 2012 Amateur Player of the Year.

Wilson has had a very solid MGA golf season.

He was the Runner Up in the 2012 Stroke Play Championship 69/71/70/78 (even par). Click here to view results

Missouri Open is held each year at The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia. This event allows all amateurs and golf professionals to compete. Wilson was the overall Champion. He shot a 64/72/71 (9 under par). Matt VanCleave, Daniel Obremski and Jason Schultz all Golf Professionals were tied for second (6 under par).

He then teamed up with Jace Long, Dixon (2011 Player of the Year) to win the Four Ball Championship in Bolivar at Silo Ridge GC. 62/64 (18 under par)

Wilson won the Payne Stewart Invitational, Hickory Hills CC with a 36 hole round of 137. and was Runner-Up at the Phil Cotton Invitational, AL Gustin GC with 72/67 (1 under par)

Wilson was also an integral part of the 2012 Hieronymus Cup Team and was selected to be a part of the USGA Men’s State Team representing “Team Missouri” along with Skip Berkmeyer, Wildwood and Brad Nurski, St Joseph. The team had a very respectful finish in 10th! Click here to view results.
