JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (March 7, 2025) – The Missouri Golf Association is proud to announce the continuation of its partnership with Logboat Brewing Co., a Columbia, Missouri-based craft brewery, for the 2025 season.

After a successful collaboration last year, Logboat Brewing Co. will once again support the MGA and its mission to grow the game of golf in Missouri. As part of this partnership, Logboat’s presence at MGA events will expand, offering golfers across the state more opportunities to enjoy locally crafted beer while competing in some of Missouri’s amateur tournaments.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with Logboat Brewing Co. for another season,” said MGA Executive Director Scott Hovis. “Their commitment to supporting local communities and growing the game of golf in Missouri makes them a valuable partner for the MGA. We look forward to strengthening our collaboration throughout the season.”

Founded in 2014, Logboat Brewing Co. has become a staple of the Missouri craft beer scene, offering a lineup of year-round brews, seasonal releases, and a rotating IPA series. Located at 504 Fay Street in Columbia, Logboat’s expanded taproom and patio provide a welcoming atmosphere for beer lovers and golfers alike.

Logboat’s beers, including favorites like Snapper IPA, Lookout American Pale Ale, and Bobber Missouri Lager, are available at retailers and golf courses across the state. To find the nearest location carrying Logboat brews, visit the “Find Us” tab on their website at logboatbrewing.com.

The Missouri Golf Association is excited to build upon this partnership and continue promoting Missouri-based businesses to its network of amateur golfers.

ABOUT MGA: The Missouri Golf Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the best interests and true spirit of golf throughout the state of Missouri.

Founded in 1905 in St. Louis, the MGA was established to conduct the Missouri Amateur Championship, originally hosted by four founding clubs—St. Louis Country Club, Algonquin Golf Club, Glen Echo Golf Club, and Normandie Golf Club. In 1909, the invite-only championship expanded to Kansas City’s Evanston Club, and by 1911, the MGA became formally organized under Bonner Miller, its first Secretary and Executive Director. Since then, the MGA has grown to provide a variety of competitive tournaments, junior programs, and resources that support golfers of all ages and skill levels, continuing its mission to grow and enhance the game across Missouri.
