EUGENE, Mo. (July 24, 2024) – The second and final round of the inaugural MGA Imperial Junior Classic at Redfield Golf Course in Eugene concluded today. Congratulations to Haven Evers (Eldon, Class of 2029) and Ayden Howard (California, Class of 2025) for their outstanding performances, earning them the titles of 2024 MGA Imperial Junior Classic Champions!
In the boys’ division, Howard and Hagan Ritter (Macon, Class of 2025) both posted impressive scores to tie for first place. Howard shot an even-par, 72 today, maintaining his consistent play throughout the tournament. Ritter improved his position significantly by shooting a 2-under, 70 in the final round, which included five birdies. Both players finished with a total score of 2-under, 142. The tie led to a playoff, where Howard secured the championship on the first hole, earning the gold medal, while Ritter took second place and the silver.
Teagen Hull (Eldon, Class of 2024) claimed third place with a strong performance, shooting 2-under, 70 today after a 1-over, 73 yesterday. Hull’s final score of 1-under, 143 included four birdies and only two bogeys in the final round.
In the girls’ division, Evers delivered a remarkable comeback to win the tournament. Despite a challenging first round where she shot 13-over, 85, Evers rebounded with an impressive 3-over, 75 in the final round, moving from fifth place to first with a total score of 16-over, 160. Her final round included four birdies.
Jaycie Lowrey (Jefferson City, Class of 2025), Grace Tiedemann (Rogersville, Class of 2026), and Ava Tiedemann (Rogersville, Class of 2027) tied for second place, each finishing with a total score of 18-over, 162. Lowrey had the most improved round, following a 12-over, 84 in the first round with a 6-over, 78 in the second round.

EUGENE, Mo. (July 23, 2024) – The first round of the Inaugural MGA Imperial Junior Classic, sponsored by Imperial, has concluded at the beautiful Redfield Golf Course in Eugene, MO. The event witnessed impressive performances from both boys and girls divisions.
Cooper Toalson (Eldon, Class of 2027) currently leads the field with a score of 3-under, 69. Toalson’s round included five birdies and just two bogeys. Close behind, Ayden Howard from California (Class of 2025) and Dawson Schnieders from Jefferson City (Class of 2026) are tied for second place at 2-under, 70. Howard also notched five birdies, while Schnieders secured four.
Hagan Ritter (Macon, Class of 2026) holds fourth place with an even-par round of 72, featuring four birdies. There is a three-way tie for fifth place at 1-over, 73, between Titus Johnson (Kansas City, Class of 2025), Logan Hoffman (Jefferson City, Class of 2026), and Teagen Hull (Eldon, Class of 2024). Notably, Hull tied for first in the Arris’ Pizza Summer Showcase but missed out on the gold medal in a playoff, taking home silver instead.
In the girls division, Ava Tiedemann (Rogersville, Class of 2027) and Mia McGraw (Jefferson City, Class of 2026) are tied for the lead with scores of 9-over, 81. Tiedemann’s round included one birdie, while McGraw recorded a birdie and an eagle on the 12th hole. Ava’s sister, Grace Tiedemann (Rogersville, Class of 2026), is in third place with a score of 10-over, 82. Jaycie Lowrey (Jefferson City, Class of 2025) is currently in fourth place at 12-over, 84, and Haven Evers from (Eldon, Class of 2029) rounds out the top five at 13-over, 85.

ABOUT MGA: The Missouri Golf Association is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the best interests and true spirit of the game of golf throughout the State of Missouri.
The Missouri Golf Association was started in St. Louis in 1905 to run the Amateur Championship. Four founding clubs would be the ones in existence in St. Louis in those early years – St. Louis Country Club, Algonquin Golf Club, Glen Echo Golf Club and Normandie Golf Club. Four years later, the invite-only Missouri Amateur was held in Kansas City at Evanston Club. 1911 marked the real organization of the MGA with Bonner Miller as Secretary and Executive Director. Ever since then, the MGA has striven to provide tournaments and spaces for Missouri golfers to sharpen their skills and enjoy the game.
