NEW BLOOMFIELD, Mo. – Today, the Missouri Junior Tour held its tenth event of the season at Lake Meadow Acres Country Club in New Bloomfield, Missouri. A field of 88 junior golfers divided into age divisions played a round of stroke play.

The following flights played 18 Hole Stroke Play:

Dylan Bryan (Jefferson City) and Jacob Anderson (Ashland) tied for first place in the 16-18 Boys division, both shooting one over, 73. In a chip off, Bryan won first place and Anderson took second. Ayden Howard (California) and Teagen Hull (Eldon) tied for third place with a score of five over, 77, and Howard took home the bronze after a chip off. 

Audrey Duvall (Springfield) was the winner of the 16-18 Female division with a score of five over, 77. Sophie Hinds (Jefferson City) followed close behind at seven over, 79, for second place, and Savanna Hazelrigg (Columbia) took home third at 18 over, 90.

In the 14-15 Male division, Dawson Schnieders (Jefferson City) earned first place at three over, 75. Michael Atnip (Jefferson City) and Zach Hull followed in at six over, 78. After a chip off, Hull took home second and Atnip took home third.

Haven Evers (Eldon) earned first place in the 14-15 Female flight, shooting 11 over, 83. Clair Sinnett took home third with a score of 24 over, 96. India Arauz (Lake Ozark) came in third with a score of 26 over, 98.

In the 12-13 Male 18-hole division, Eli Cummings (Eldon) won with a score of four over, 76. Ty Brandt (Jefferson City) earned second place at seven over, 79, and Jackson Bennett (Eldon) shot 11 over, 83, for third place.

The following flights played 9 Hole Stroke Play:

Jack Sinnett (Jefferson City) won the 12-13 Male 9-hole flight, firing four over, 40. Graham Henley (Eldon) shot six over par, 42, for second place, and Grayson Atteberry (Jefferson City) took home third at 13 over, 49.

Lily Caudle (Holts Summit) earned first place in the 10-13 Female flight after shooting 11 over, 47. Drew Maze (Columbia) took second place at 13 over, 49. Ashtyn Shaw (Jefferson City) placed third with a score of 18 over, 54.

In the 10-11 Male division, Jagger Glaze (Eldon) came out on top with a score of five over, 41. Blaine Munzlinger (Columbia) earned second place after firing six over, 42. Tyson Strupp (Columbia) shot seven over, 43, to earn third place. 

Ralston Maupin (Fulton) won the 8-9 Male group with a score of nine over, 45. Brecken Farmer (Jefferson City) got second place with a score of 11 over, 47, and Logan Knaebel (Columbia) was right behind in third.

There were just three competitors in the 8-9 Female division. Emerson Munzlinger (Columbia) shot 26 over, 62, to win first place, Allison Knaebel (Columbia) won second place at 27 over, 63 and Abigail Neely took third with a score of 33 over, 69.

The Missouri Golf Association is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the best interests and true spirit of the game of golf throughout the State of Missouri.

The Missouri Golf Association was started in St. Louis in 1905 to run the Amateur Championship. Four founding clubs would be the ones in existence in St. Louis in those early years – St. Louis Country Club, Algonquin Golf Club, Glen Echo Golf Club and Normandie Golf Club. Four years later, the invite-only Missouri Amateur was held in Kansas City at Evanston Club. 1911 marked the real organization of the MGA with Bonner Miller as Secretary and Executive Director.
