SEDALIA, Mo. – Today, June 5, 2023, the MGA held its fifth Senior Series Tour event of the season at Sedalia Country Club in Sedalia, Missouri. A total of 85 golfers competed starting with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start.

Senior Series events are open to male golfers who are members of the MGA and 50 years of age or older. Competitors compete in flights based on their age as of April 17, 2023. 

Christian Corpe (Lake Ozark) won the 50-54 Open division with a score of three under, 67.

Shooting par for the day, 70, Dan Kelley (Chesterfield) won the 55-59 Open flight.

Jeff Spies (Ozark) came out on top of the 60-64 Open division with a score of three over, 73.

Tony Brown (St. Louis) was the winner of the 65-69 Open flight, shooting four over, 74.

Finally, George Bowler (Warrensburg) came out on top of the 70+ open flight at one over, 71.

The following net flights have handicap strokes deducted from final scores.

Eric Austin (Raymore) and Mike Domenick (Festus) tied for first in the 50-58 Net division at four under, 66.

With a score of eight under, 62, Gary Eggen (Jefferson City) was the winner of the 59-64 Net flight.

Harold Dishman (Strafford) and Bob Rugen (Fulton) tied for first place in the 65-69 Net flight at two under, 68.

John Zelazek (Warrensburg) and William Hubble (Jefferson City) tied for first in the 70-74 Net flight at one over, 71.

Lastly, the 75+ Net group saw a tie for first place between Charles Kaiser (Jefferson City) and King Edmonston (St. Louis), both shooting three under, 67.
