RICHMOND, Mo. – Day two of the Junior Match Play Championship has come to an end at Shirkey Golf Club in Richmond.
Golfers competed in the second and final round of stroke play today. The top 16 golfers with the lowest scores from the two rounds of stroke play will advance to match play beginning tomorrow morning.
Two rounds of match play will take place tomorrow. The 16 golfers that advanced from stroke play will go head-to-head in pairs with only the winners advancing to the evening round.
Shooting the low score for the first and second rounds in the Male flight is Andrew Conrad (Smithville) at four over par, 146.
The following players also advanced to match play: Alexander Wiseman (Poplar Bluff), Andrew Fallis (Columbia), Archer Schnieders (Jefferson City), Boyd William (California), Johnny Boyer (Kirksville), Brayden Buffington (Frankford), Anson Munzlinger (Columbia), Quinn Thomas (Hannibal), Peyton Smith (Lee’s Summit), Devin Reichard (Columbia), Gaige Lewis (Springfield), David Slipke (Kearney), Jonathan Jordan (Rolla), Ian Lambert (Jackson) and Jacob Schreiner (Fenton).
Tierney Baumstark (Columbia) shot the low score from rounds one and two for the Female flight at 14 over par, 156.
The following golfers also advanced to match play: Marlee Edgerman (Marshfield), Kiser Pannier (Sedalia), Hanna Maschhoff (Lake Ozark), Page Bowman (Springfield), Kate Ryan (Columbia), Anna Bell (Poplar Bluff), Camryn Swinfard (Jefferson City), Ellie Johnson (Des Peres), Mia Farrar (Nixa), Merra Upadhyay (Saint Louis), Sophie Hinds (Jefferson City), Jaycie Lowery (Jefferson City), Avery Wells (Eldon), Reece Nimmo (Warrensburg) and Autumn Allen (Eldon).

RICHMOND, Mo. – The Missouri Golf Association’s 22nd annual Junior Match Play Championship began today at Shirkey Golf Club in Richmond, Missouri.
Golfers played one round of 18-hole stroke play with the second round following tomorrow.
The top 16 golfers from each gender will move on to match play on Wednesday. Any ties will be decided immediately following stroke play with a hole by hole playoff.
Leading the Male flight is Johnny Boyer (Kirksville). He shot an even par, 71.
Marlee Edgeman (Marshfield) is leading the Women’s flight. She shot three over par, 74.
