JEFFERSON CITY — The 115th edition of the Missouri Amateur Championship is set to be held at Bellerive Country Club in Town & Country.

“We are so excited to bring the 115th Missouri Amateur Championship to Bellerive and be able to see the top amateur golfers in Missouri compete at such a history rich country club!” MGA Executive Director Scott Hovis said. “What a great opportunity for the players to walk the same fairways as some of the best golfers in the world did and have over the years.” 

The course has played host to illustrious tournaments including hosting the PGA Championship in 2018. It will host the Missouri Amateur for the third time, and for the first time since 1984.

While the club did not move to its current site until 1960, Bellerive began in 1897 as a small nine-hole course.

When the course was relocated, famed golf architect Robert Jones Sr. was designated as the lead on the project. His work has stood the test of time, producing a world-class golf course in suburban St. Louis.

The club has hosted three USGA Open events, PGA Championships three times, and a number of other professional events.
