On Thursday, June 14, the field of 32 started match play with the winners advancing to play the round of 16 in the afternoon.  Michael Steelman of Rolla, MO took down the number one seed in the first round by winning the 18^th hole to win the match 1 up.  With the girls having a total of 16 players, Ashley Rand and Megan Keck each had a bye in the first round of match play.  With great golf being played and some close matches, not one match went beyond the 18^th hole.  The girls round of 8 will begin at 7:30 am on Thursday morning with the boys following closely behind starting at 8:15 am.
